SAN is an abbreviation for 'Somali Abessijn Nederland' en exists as an independent association since 4 mei 1991.
SAN is mainly brought to live as an informative en protective organ for the breeds Somali and Abyssinian.

Goals set by SAN:

Improvement of health of the Somalis and Abyssinians by education and information
Maintaining or improving type and character of Somalis and Abyssinains by education and information
Publishing the independent magazine Ticked, for everyone who loves Somalis and/or Abyssinians, for the purpose of distribution and/or exchanging information
Tasks of SAN:

The first and most important task is publishing Ticked Magazine
Supplying info about kittens and catteries
Supplying advice regarding breeding
Establishing a documentation centre

SAN is not a breeders association.
SAN is not bound to any breeders association.
SAN does not manufacture pedigrees.

SAN has subscribers who can be closely invovled in her activities.
SAN offers her subscribers a set of services like kitteninfo, escortservice, breeders advice and more.

The main concern of SAN is in fact publishing "TICKED" and thus spreading all kinds of usefull information which applies to our breeds Somali and Abyssinian.
